Sukta 21

न ता न॑शन्ति॒ न द॑भाति॒ तस्क॑रो॒ नासा॑मामि॒त्रो व्य॒थिरा द॑धर्षति । दे॒वांश्च याभि॒र्यज॑ते॒ ददा॑ति च॒ ज्योगित् ताभिः॑ सचते॒ गोप॑तिः स॒ह

Sanskrit recitationAtharva Veda 4.21.3

ná tā́ naśanti ná dabhāti táskaraḥ ná āsā́m ámitro vyathírā dadharṣati | devā́ṃś ca yā́bhir yájate dádāti ca jyók íd tā́bhiḥ sacate gopátiḥ sáha

They perish not; the thief harms them not; no enemy, making terror, dares assail them. With them wherewith he worships the Gods and gives, for long time indeed with them abides the Lord of Cows, together.

Mereka tidak binasa; pencuri tidak mencelakai mereka; tiada musuh yang menebar gentar berani menyerang mereka. Dengan sarana yang dengannya ia memuja para Dewa dan memberi, untuk waktu yang lama sungguh bersama sarana itu Sang Penguasa Sapi (gopati) tinggal menyertai.
