दि॒शां प्र॒ज्ञानां॑ स्व॒रय॑न्तम॒र्चिषा॑ सुप॒क्षमा॒शुं प॒तय॑न्तमर्ण॒वे। स्तवा॑म सूर्यं॒ भुव॑नस्य गो॒पां यो र॒श्मिभि॒र्दिश॑ आ॒भाति॒ सर्वाः॑

diśā́m prajñā́nāṁ svárayantaṁ arcíṣā supakṣám āśúṁ patáyantam arṇavé | stávāma sū́ryaṁ bhúvanasya gopā́ṁ yó raśmíbhir díśa ābhā́ti sárvāḥ ||

Him of the quarters, of the wise discerners, resounding with his splendour—well-winged, swift, flying in the flood—Sūrya we laud, the guardian of the world, who with his rays illumineth all the directions.

Dia yang menguasai penjuru-penjuru, yang dipahami para bijak; yang bergema dengan sinar cahayanya—bersayap elok, cepat, terbang di samudra—Sūrya kami puji, penjaga dunia, yang dengan sinar-sinarnya menerangi semua arah.
