The Genealogy of the Pitṛs and the Determination of Śrāddha Times

श्राद्धस्य कालान् वक्ष्यामि तान् शृणुष्व द्विजोत्तम । श्राद्धार्हमागतं द्रव्यं विशिष्टमथवा द्विजम् ॥ १३.३५ ॥

śrāddhasya kālān vakṣyāmi tān śṛṇuṣva dvijottama | śrāddhārham āgataṃ dravyaṃ viśiṣṭam athavā dvijam || 13.35 ||

હું શ્રાદ્ધ માટે યોગ્ય કાળ કહું છું; હે દ્વિજોત્તમ, તે સાંભળો. શ્રાદ્ધાર્હ દ્રવ્ય પ્રાપ્ત થાય ત્યારે અથવા કોઈ વિશિષ્ટ દ્વિજ અતિથિ આવે ત્યારે (શ્રાદ્ધ) કરવું જોઈએ.
