यो नः सनुत्यो अभिदासदग्ने यो अन्तरो मित्रमहो वनुष्यात् । तमजरेभिर्वृषभिस्तव स्वैस्तपा तपिष्ठ तपसा तपस्वान् ॥
yo naḥ sanutyo abhi-dāsad agne yo antaraḥ mitra-maho vanuṣyāt | tam ajarebhir vṛṣabhis tava svais tapā tapiṣṭha tapasā tapasvān ||
હે અગ્નિ, જે કોઈ દૂરથી અમ પર આક્રમણ કરે, અથવા જે કોઈ અંદરથી મહાન-મિત્રને ખંડિત કરવા ઇચ્છે—તેને તારા પોતાના અજર (અવિનાશી) વૃષભો વડે દહન કર. હે અતિ-તપિષ્ઠ, તપસ્ (તેજસ્વી તાપ) વડે તેને તપાવ; હે તપસ્વાન, તારા દહનથી દહન કર.
