Sukta 4.24
स वृत्रहत्ये हव्यः स ईड्यः स सुष्टुत इन्द्रः सत्यराधाः । स यामन्ना मघवा मर्त्याय ब्रह्मण्यते सुष्वये वरिवो धात् ॥
sá vṛtra-hátye havyáḥ sá ī́ḍyaḥ sá suṣṭutá índraḥ satyá-rādhāḥ | sá yā́mann ā́ maghávā martyā́ya brahmaṇyaté suṣváye vári-vo dhāt ||
વૃત્રવધના યજ્ઞકર્મમાં તે જ હવ્ય (અર્પણ) છે; તે જ આહ્વેય છે, તે જ સ્તુત્ય છે—સુસ્તુત ઇન્દ્ર, સત્ય-રાધા (સાચી દાનશક્તિવાળો). યાત્રામાં તે મઘવાન્ (દાનવીર) બ્રહ્મ-પ્રાર્થક અને સોમ પિષનાર મર્ત્ય પાસે આવે છે; અને તેના માટે વિશાળ અવકાશ—નિર્વિઘ્ન ગતિ માટેનું વરિવસ્—સ્થાપે છે.
