Sukta 4.2
अधा ह यद्वयमग्ने त्वाया पड्भिर्हस्तेभिश्चकृमा तनूभिः । रथं न क्रन्तो अपसा भुरिजोॠतं येमुः सुध्य आशुषाणाः ॥
adhā́ ha yád vayám agne tvāyā́ paṭ-bhír hástebhiś cakṛmā́ tanū́bhiḥ | ráthaṃ ná krántaḥ ápasā bhuríjo ṛtáṃ yémuḥ su-dhyá āśuṣāṇā́ḥ ||
અને ત્યાર પછી, હે અગ્નિ, જ્યારે અમે અમારા પગલાંઓથી, હાથોથી અને પોતાના જ દેહોથી તારા માટે કર્મ રચ્યું છે—શ્રમથી રથ સમ આગળ વધતા—ત્યારે શુદ્ધબુદ્ધિ, પ્રેરણામાં ત્વરિત એવા (ઋષિજન) ઋત (ṛta) ને દૃઢપણે ધારણ કરે.
