Sukta 10.3
कृष्णां यदेनीमभि वर्पसा भूज्जनयन्योषां बृहतः पितुर्जाम् । ऊर्ध्वं भानुं सूर्यस्य स्तभायन्दिवो वसुभिररतिर्वि भाति ॥
kṛṣṇā́ṁ yád enī́m abhí várpasā bhū́j janáyan yóṣāṁ bṛhatáḥ pitúr jā́m | ūrdhváṁ bhānúṁ sū́ryasya stabhā́yan divó vásu-bhir aratír ví bhā́ti ||
જ્યારે તે પોતાના સ્વરૂપ-વર્પસાથી કૃષ્ણા (અંધકાર)ને સામનો કરે છે, ત્યારે તે તેજસ્વી યુવાનને જન્માવે છે—વિશાળ પિતૃ (બૃહતઃ પિતુઃ)નો સંતાન. તે સૂર્યના ભાનુને ઊર્ધ્વ સ્થિર કરે છે; અને દિવ્ય વસુઓ (ધન-સમૃદ્ધિ) સાથે આ ગતિશીલ શક્તિ સર્વત્ર વિભાસે છે.
