बर्हिर्वा यत्स्वपत्याय वृज्यतेऽर्को वा श्लोकमाघोषते दिवि । ग्रावा यत्र वदति कारुरुक्थ्यस्तस्येदिन्द्रो अभिपित्वेषु रण्यति ॥

Transliteration

barhír vā yát svapatyā́ya vṛ́jyate 'rkó vā ślókаm āghóṣate diví | grā́vā yátra vádati kā́rur ukthyàḥ tásyed índro abhipitvéṣu raṇyati ||

Translation

જ્યાં સત્ય સંતતિના પ્રાપ્તિ માટે બર્હિ (યજ્ઞાસન) પાથરાય છે, અથવા જ્યાં દિવિમાં અર્ક/સ્તોત્રનો શ્લોક ગુંજે છે; જ્યાં ગ્રાવા (સોમપેષણ-પથ્થર) બોલે છે અને ઉક્થ્ય કારુ (પ્રેરિત ગાયક) સ્તુતિ ઉચ્ચારે છે—ત્યાં જ ઇન્દ્ર પોતાના અંતરંગ પાન-સમાગમોમાં આનંદ કરે છે.
