त्वया वयं मघवन्निन्द्र शत्रूनभि ष्याम महतो मन्यमानान् । त्वं त्राता त्वमु नो वृधे भूर्विद्यामेषं वृजनं जीरदानुम् ॥
tváyā vayáṃ maghavann indra śátrūn abhí syāma maható manyámānān | tváṃ trātā́ tvám u no vṛ́dhe bhūr vidyā́meṣaṃ vṛ́janaṃ jīrádānum ||
હે મઘવન ઇન્દ્ર! તારા સહારે અમે પોતાને મહાન માનનારા શત્રુબળોને સામનો કરીને વટાવી જઈએ. તું રક્ષક છે; અમારા વૃદ્ધિ માટે તું જ થા. અમે પ્રેરણા (ઇષ) અને વિજયી આગેકૂચ (વૃજન) પ્રાપ્ત કરીએ, અને દીર્ઘદાનુ—દીર્ઘકાળ સુધી દાન આપનાર—ને જાણીએ.
