आ ये रजांसि तविषीभिरव्यत प्र व एवासः स्वयतासो अध्रजन् । भयन्ते विश्वा भुवनानि हर्म्या चित्रो वो यामः प्रयतास्वृष्टिषु ॥
ā ye rajāṃsi taviṣībhiḥ avyata pra va evāsaḥ sva-yatāso adhrajan | bhayante viśvā bhuvanāni harmyā citro vo yāmaḥ pra-yatāsu ṛṣṭiṣu ||
હે (મરુતગણો), તમારી તવિષી (પ્રચંડ શક્તિઓ) વિસ્તૃત રજાંસિ—વિશાળ અવકાશોમાં—વણાઈ ગઈ છે; અને તમે તો ખરેખર આગળ ધસી પડો છો, સ્વયંપ્રેરિત. તમારો ચિત્ર—બહુરંગી—યામ (યાત્રા/ગતિ) જ્યારે તાણેલા ભાલાઓ (વૃષ્ટિ-શસ્ત્રો) વચ્ચે આગળ વધે છે, જ્યારે તમારો નિયમિત, સંયત પ્રહાર પ્રસ્થાન કરે છે—ત્યારે સર્વ ભૂવન ભય પામે છે, અચળ હર્મ્ય (દૃઢ નિવાસસ્થાનો) પણ કંપે છે.
