कथा ते अग्ने शुचयन्त आयोर्ददाशुर्वाजेभिराशुषाणाः । उभे यत्तोके तनये दधाना ऋतस्य सामन्रणयन्त देवाः ॥

kathā́ te agne śucáyanta āyór dadāśúr vājébhir āśuṣāṇā́ḥ | ubhé yát tókē tánaye dádhānā ṛtásya sā́man raṇáyanta devā́ḥ ||

અગ્ને, કહો તો—શુચિ બનતા તેઓ તને કેવી રીતે અર્પણ કરે છે અને બળની સમૃદ્ધિઓ સાથે ઉત્સાહથી આગળ ધસી જાય છે? જ્યારે તેઓ ટોકા (બાળક) અને તનય (સંતાન) બંનેને સ્થાપે છે, ત્યારે દેવો ઋતના સામન (ઋત-સ્તુતિ)ને ગુંજારવે છે.
