Sukta 1.103
स धारयत्पृथिवीं पप्रथच्च वज्रेण हत्वा निरपः ससर्ज । अहन्नहिमभिनद्रौहिणं व्यहन्व्यंसं मघवा शचीभिः ॥
sá dhā́rayat pṛthivī́m papráthat ca vájreṇa hatvā́ nír apáḥ sasarja | áhann áhīm abhinad rauhiṇáṃ vy àhan vyàṃsaṃ maghávā śácībhiḥ ||
તે પૃથ્વીને દૃઢ રાખે છે અને તેને વિસ્તારે છે; વજ્રથી પ્રહાર કરી તેણે જળોને મુક્ત કર્યા. તેણે અહિ (સર્પ) ને હણ્યો, રૌહિણને ચીરી નાખ્યો, અવરોધક વ્યાંસને પાડી દીધો—મઘવાને પોતાની શચીભિઃ (ચેતન શક્તિઓ) વડે.
