स नः पितेव सूनवेऽग्ने सूपायनो भव । सचस्वा नः स्वस्तये ॥
Transliteration
sá naḥ pitā́ iva sūnáve ’gne su-upāyanó bhava | sácasvā naḥ svastáye ||
Translation
હે અગ્નિ, અમારા માટે પુત્ર પ્રત્યે પિતાની જેમ—સુલભ ઉપાયન અને નેતૃત્વ માટે તૈયાર—બન; અમારી સ્વસ્તિ માટે અમારાં સાથે જોડાઈ રહે, ઋતના યોગ્ય ક્રમે આત્માનો સુરક્ષિત વિકાસ થાય તે માટે.
