રાષ્ટ્રસભા અને સભા તથા સમિતિ—પ્રજાપતિની બે એકમત પુત્રીઓ—મારા મિત્ર બની મને રક્ષે. જે ઉપાયથી લોકો મારી પાસે આવે અને મારી સાથે એકમતતા પામે—એ ઉપાય મને શીખવે; જેથી, હે પિતૃઓ, સભાઓમાં હું મધુર વચન બોલું.

वि॒द्म ते॑ सभे॒ नाम॑ न॒रिष्टा॒ नाम॒ वा अ॑सि । ये ते॒ के च॑ सभा॒सद॒स्ते मे॑ सन्तु॒ सवा॑चसः
હે સભા, અમે તારો નામ જાણીએ છીએ—‘નરિષ્ટા’ નામે તું ઓળખાય છે. તારા જે કોઈ સભાસદો પરિષદમાં બેઠા છે, તેઓ બધા મારા માટે એક જ વાણીવાળા રહે; વાણીમાં એકમત રહે.

ए॒षाम॒हं स॒मासी॑नानां॒ वर्चो॑ वि॒ज्ञान॒मा द॑दे । अ॒स्याः सर्व॑स्याः सं॒सदो॒ मामि॑न्द्र भ॒गिनं॑ कृणु

यद् वो॒ मनः॒ परा॑गतं॒ यद् ब॒द्धमि॒ह वे॒ह वा॑ । तद् व॒ आ व॑र्तयामसि॒ मयि॑ वो रमतां॒ मनः॑
તમારું જે મન દૂર ભટકી ગયું છે, જે મન બંધાયેલું છે—અહીં હોય કે ત્યાં—તે જ અમે પાછું અહીં ફેરવીએ છીએ. તમારું મન મારામાં રમે; મારામાં જ સ્થિર રહે.
