वर्चःप्राप्तिः। गि॒राव॑र॒गरा॑टेषु॒ हिर॑ण्ये॒ गोषु॒ यद् यशः॑ । सुरा॑यां सि॒च्यमा॑नायां की॒लाले॒ मधु॒ तन्मयि॑
વર્ચસની પ્રાપ્તિ: વાણીમાં, પથ્થરી સ્થળોમાં, સોનામાં, ગાયોમાં જે યશ છે; અને સૂરા ઢોળાતી હોય ત્યારે, મધુર કીલાલમાં જે કીર્તિ છે—જે મધ છે—તે બધું મારામાં રહે.

अश्वि॑ना सार॒घेण॑ मा॒ मधु॑नाङ्क्तं शुभस्पती । यथा॒ भर्ग॑स्वतीं॒ वाच॑मा॒वदा॑नि॒ जनाँ॑ अनु॑
હે અશ્વિનો, સારઘ (sārāgha) સાથે, મધુથી મને અભિષિક્ત/અંકિત કરો, શુભસ્પતી—કલ્યાણના સ્વામી! જેથી હું તેજસ્વી વાણી ઉચ્ચારી શકું, અને લોકો મારી પાછળ અનુસરે.

मयि॒ वर्चो॒ अथो॒ यशोऽथो॑ य॒ज्ञस्य॒ यत् पयः॑ । तन्मयि॑ प्र॒जाप॑तिर्दि॒वि द्यामि॑व दृंहतु
મારામાં તેજ (વર્ચસ) રહે, અને મારામાં યશ રહે; તેમજ યજ્ઞનું જે દૂધસમાન રસ (પયઃ) છે—તે પ્રજાપતિ મારામાં દૃઢ કરે, જાણે આકાશમાં દ્યૌ (સ્વર્ગ) ને સ્થિર કરે તેમ.
