Sukta 39
यत्र॒ नाव॑प्र॒भ्रंश॑नं॒ यत्र॑ हि॒मव॑तः॒ शिरः॑ । तत्रा॒मृत॑स्य॒ चक्ष॑णं॒ ततः॒ कुष्ठो॑ अजायत । स कुष्ठो॑ वि॒श्वभे॑षजः सा॒कं सोमे॑न तिष्ठति । त॒क्मानं॒ सर्वं॑ नाशय॒ सर्वा॑श्च यातुधा॒न्यः
yátra nā́va-prabhraṃ́śanaṃ yátra himávataḥ śíraḥ | tatrā́mṛ́tasya cákṣaṇaṃ tatáḥ kúṣṭho ajāyata | sá kúṣṭho viśvá-bheṣajaḥ sā́kaṃ sómena tiṣṭhati | takmā́naṃ sárvaṃ nāśaya sárvāś ca yātudhānyàḥ
Where is the ship’s slipping-down, where the head of Himavat—there is the visible station of Immortality: thence Kuṣṭha was born. That Kuṣṭha, the universal remedy, standeth together with Soma. Destroy thou every fever, and all the Yātudhānī witches.
જ્યાં નૌકાનું સરકીને પડવું છે, જ્યાં હિમવતનું શિખર છે—ત્યાં અમૃતનું દૃશ્ય સ્થાન છે; ત્યાંથી કુષ્ઠ જન્મ્યો. એ કુષ્ઠ સર્વભેષજ, સોમ સાથે એકસાથે સ્થિર રહે છે. તું સર્વ તક્માન (જ્વર) નો નાશ કર; અને સર્વ યાતુધાનિ (ડાયણો/ટોણાખોર સ્ત્રીઓ) નો પણ.
