Sukta 9.86
प्र ते मदासो मदिरास आशवोऽसृक्षत रथ्यासो यथा पृथक् । धेनुर्न वत्सं पयसाभि वज्रिणमिन्द्रमिन्दवो मधुमन्त ऊर्मयः ॥
prá te madā́so madirā́sa āśávo ’sṛkṣata rathyā́so yáthā pṛ́thak | dhenúr na vatsáṃ páyasā́bhi vajríṇam índram índavo mádhu-manta ū́rmayaḥ ||
Tes rapides ivresses, ô Soma — courants enivrants — se sont déliées comme des chars se déployant chacun sur sa voie. Comme la vache vers son veau avec le lait, les vagues pleines de miel, ces houles, pressent vers Indra, porteur du Vajra, afin de fortifier en nous sa puissance victorieuse.
