Sukta 9.69
सिन्धोरिव प्रवणे निम्न आशवो वृषच्युता मदासो गातुमाशत । शं नो निवेशे द्विपदे चतुष्पदेऽस्मे वाजाः सोम तिष्ठन्तु कृष्टयः ॥
síndhor-iva pravaṇé nímna āśávo vṛ́ṣa-cyutā mádāso gātúm āśata | śáṃ no nivēśé dvi-padé catúṣ-padé ’smé vājā́ḥ soma tiṣṭhantu kṛ́ṣṭayaḥ ||
Comme l’élan d’un fleuve dévalant la pente vers le bas-fond, les rapides ivresses, versées par le Taureau, ont trouvé leur voie. Paix à notre demeure, au bipède et au quadrupède ; en nous, ô Soma, que les vājaḥ, les plénitudes de force, se tiennent fermes, et que les peuples soient établis.
