Sukta 2.1
त्वामग्ने दम आ विश्पतिं विशस्त्वां राजानं सुविदत्रमृञ्जते । त्वं विश्वानि स्वनीक पत्यसे त्वं सहस्राणि शता दश प्रति ॥
tvām agne dame ā viśpátiṃ víśas tvā́ṃ rājā́naṃ suvidátram ṛñjate | tvaṃ víśvāni svanīka patyase tvaṃ sahásrāṇi śatá daśá práti ||
Toi, ô Agni, dans la demeure les peuples te placent en avant, comme seigneur du clan, toi comme roi qui apporte le juste discernement. Tu gouvernes toutes les puissances lumineuses et les troupes ordonnées; tu te tiens face à l’élan millefois, centfois, dixfois, le maîtrisant dans sa poussée en avant.
