राजा सिन्धूनामवसिष्ट वास ऋतस्य नावमारुहद्रजिष्ठाम् । अप्सु द्रप्सो वावृधे श्येनजूतो दुह ईं पिता दुह ईं पितुर्जाम् ॥

Transliteration

rājā́ síndhūnām avasiṣṭa vā́sa ṛtásya nā́vam ā́ruhad rájiṣṭhām | apsú drapsó vāvṛdhe śyená-jūto dúha īm pitā́ dúha īm pitúr jām ||

Translation

Rey de los ríos, oh Vasiṣṭha, se ha ceñido su vestidura; ha subido a la barca más veloz del ṛta. En las aguas la gota ha crecido, impulsada por el ímpetu del halcón; el Padre lo ordeña hacia afuera, y él ordeña hacia afuera el parentesco del Padre.
