Sukta 9.89
प्रो स्य वह्निः पथ्याभिरस्यान्दिवो न वृष्टिः पवमानो अक्षाः । सहस्रधारो असदन्न्यस्मे मातुरुपस्थे वन आ च सोमः ॥
pró syá vaḥníḥ pathyā́bhir asyān divó na vṛṣṭíḥ pávamāno akṣāḥ | sahásra-dhāro ásadann y àsmé mā́tur upásthe vána ā́ ca sómaḥ ||
Hacia delante avanza él, portador de la fuerza del fuego, por los senderos rectos; como la lluvia del cielo, el Purificante (Pavamāna) se derrama en corrientes. De mil corrientes, que Soma se asiente en nosotros, en el regazo de la Madre, en el brote del bosque, y venga a nuestro campo del ser.
