Sukta 9.88
इन्द्रो न यो महा कर्माणि चक्रिर्हन्ता वृत्राणामसि सोम पूर्भित् । पैद्वो न हि त्वमहिनाम्नां हन्ता विश्वस्यासि सोम दस्योः ॥
índro na yó mahā́ kármāṇi cakrír hantā́ vṛtrā́ṇām asi soma pū́r-bhit | paidvó na hí tvám ahi-nāmnām hantā́ víśvasyāsi soma dásyoḥ ||
Como Indra, que realizó las grandes obras, tú eres el matador de los obstáculos, oh Soma, el quebrantador de las fortalezas. Pues tú, en verdad, como el hijo de Paidva, eres el asesino de los poderes llamados serpientes; tú eres, oh Soma, el destructor de todo Dasyu.
