Sukta 7.88
वसिष्ठं ह वरुणो नाव्याधादृषिं चकार स्वपा महोभिः । स्तोतारं विप्रः सुदिनत्वे अह्नां यान्नु द्यावस्ततनन्यादुषासः ॥
vásiṣṭhaṃ ha váruṇo nā́vy ā́dhād ṛ́ṣiṃ cakāra svápā́ máhobhiḥ | stotā́raṃ vípraḥ sudínatve ahnā́ṃ yā́n nu dyā́vas tátanan yā́d uṣā́saḥ ||
En verdad, Varuṇa puso a Vasiṣṭha en la barca y, por sus grandes obras de poder, lo hizo ṛṣi, hombre de buena acción. El inspirado se volvió cantor para los días luminosos — para las vastedades que los cielos despliegan, y para las auroras que llegan una y otra vez.
