Sukta 7.82
महे शुल्काय वरुणस्य नु त्विष ओजो मिमाते ध्रुवमस्य यत्स्वम् । अजामिमन्यः श्नथयन्तमातिरद्दभ्रेभिरन्यः प्र वृणोति भूयसः ॥
mahé śulkā́ya váruṇasya nú tvíṣe ójo mimāte dhrúvam asya yát svám | ájāmim anyáḥ śnatháyantam ā́tirad dabhrebhír anyáḥ prá vṛṇoti bhū́yasaḥ ||
Ahora, para el gran esplendor de Varuṇa, su propia fuerza firme se mide en fulgor. Uno derriba al que no quiere ceder; el otro elige, de lo pequeño, el aumento mayor.
