Sukta 5.2
क्षेत्रादपश्यं सनुतश्चरन्तं सुमद्यूथं न पुरु शोभमानम् । न ता अगृभ्रन्नजनिष्ट हि षः पलिक्नीरिद्युवतयो भवन्ति ॥
kṣétrād apaśyaṃ sanutáś cárantaṃ su-mád yū́thaṃ ná purú śóbh amā́nam | ná tā́ agṛ́bhran ájaniṣṭa hí ṣáḥ palíknīr íd yuvatáyo bhavanti ||
Desde el campo lo vi avanzar sin cesar, como un rebaño gozoso que resplandece de muchas maneras. No lo apresaron —pues no había nacido para ellos; los canosos vuelven a ser jóvenes: por su presencia las fuerzas gastadas se renuevan en juventud.
