Sukta 4.57

Devata: Indra and Pūṣan in support of Sītā (furrow); composite agrarian-cosmic operation

इन्द्रः सीतां नि गृह्णातु तां पूषानु यच्छतु । सा नः पयस्वती दुहामुत्तरामुत्तरां समाम् ॥

índraḥ sī́tāṃ ní gṛhṇātu tā́ṃ pūṣā́nu yacchatu | sā́ naḥ páyasvatī duhām úttarām-uttarāṃ sámām ||

Que Indra tome el surco y lo afiance; que Pūṣan lo conduzca hacia adelante por el sendero recto. Y que ella, rica en savia nutritiva, nos ordeñe año tras año un aumento cada vez mayor.
