Sukta 4.41
इन्द्रा को वां वरुणा सुम्नमाप स्तोमो हविष्माँ अमृतो न होता । यो वां हृदि क्रतुमाँ अस्मदुक्तः पस्पर्शदिन्द्रावरुणा नमस्वान् ॥
índrā́ kó vāṃ varuṇā́ sumnám āpa stómo havíṣmāṃ amṛ́to ná hótā | yó vāṃ hṛdí krátumān asmád uktaḥ pásparśad indrāvaruṇā́ námasvān ||
Oh Indra y Varuṇa, ¿qué himno-ofrenda, qué stoma con oblación ha alcanzado vuestra gracia, como un Hotar inmortal con sacrificio? Nuestra palabra, dotada en el corazón de krátu (voluntad, fuerza de propósito), os ha tocado, oh Indra-Varuṇa, inclinándose en reverencia.
