Sukta 2.31
उत त्ये देवी सुभगे मिथूदृशोषासानक्ता जगतामपीजुवा । स्तुषे यद्वां पृथिवि नव्यसा वचः स्थातुश्च वयस्त्रिवया उपस्तिरे ॥
utá tyé devī́ subhágē mithū-dṛ́śo uṣásā-náktā jágatām api-júvā | stuṣé yád vāṃ pṛthivi návyasā vácas sthātúś ca váyas trí-vayā upa-stíre ||
Y también esas dos diosas, la pareja afortunada de una sola mirada — Uṣas y Naktā, la Aurora y la Noche — que impulsan hacia delante todo lo que se mueve en los mundos: a vosotras os celebro cuando, oh Tierra, con una palabra más nueva, el ser que está en pie y las potencias aladas de la vida triple se tienden como lecho, como fundamento, para tu crecimiento.
