यो होतासीत्प्रथमो देवजुष्टो यं समाञ्जन्नाज्येना वृणानाः । स पतत्रीत्वरं स्था जगद्यच्छ्वात्रमग्निरकृणोज्जातवेदाः ॥

Transliteration

yo hotāsīt prathamo devajuṣṭo yaṃ samāñjann ājyena vṛṇānāḥ | sa patatrī tv araṃ sthā jagad yac chvātram agnir akṛṇoj jātavedāḥ ||

Translation

Él fue el primer hotar, grato a los dioses; al elegirlo, lo ungieron con mantequilla clarificada. Se alzó como el movedor alado, veloz para la obra; cuando Agni, Jātavedas, hizo del mundo una morada, apta para la marcha luminosa.
