Sukta 10.157
Indra with the Viśve Devāḥ (All Gods)
Este breve himno invoca a Indra junto con los Viśve Devāḥ («todos los dioses») para «poner los mundos en el orden correcto», estableciendo armonía a través de los planos de la existencia y de la vida humana. Pide que Indra, acompañado por los Ādityas y los Maruts, se convierta en protector de nuestra vitalidad encarnada; y culmina en un giro hacia el interior del canto‑rayo sagrado (arká) que restaura la svadhā: la ley innata y el poder sustentador.
Mantra 1
इमा नु कं भुवना सीषधामेन्द्रश्च विश्वे च देवाः ॥
Que ahora Indra y todos los dioses pongan estos mundos para nosotros en el orden recto.
Mantra 2
यज्ञं च नस्तन्वं च प्रजां चादित्यैरिन्द्रः सह चीकॢपाति ॥
El sacrificio, nuestro cuerpo y la descendencia: que Indra, junto con los Ādityas, los disponga para nosotros.
Mantra 3
आदित्यैरिन्द्रः सगणो मरुद्भिरस्माकं भूत्वविता तनूनाम् ॥
Que Indra, en compañía de los Āditya y junto con los Marut, se haga nuestro protector — guardián de nuestro ser encarnado y de sus rectas energías.
Mantra 4
हत्वाय देवा असुरान्यदायन्देवा देवत्वमभिरक्षमाणाः ॥
Cuando los dioses salieron para abatir a los Asura, los dioses avanzaron guardando y preservando su divinidad — manteniendo intacta la ley luminosa de su propio ser divino.
Mantra 5
प्रत्यञ्चमर्कमनयञ्छचीभिरादित्स्वधामिषिरां पर्यपश्यन् ॥
Con sus poderes eficaces condujeron hacia dentro el rayo‑canto que retorna (arká); entonces, en verdad, contemplaron por doquier la svadhā, la ley‑de‑sí, veloz e impulsora — su fuerza nativa restaurada.
It asks Indra and the collective gods (Viśve Devāḥ) to set the worlds and our life-conditions in right order—bringing harmony, protection, and stability.
The Ādityas represent law, truth, and right order, while the Maruts represent energizing force and courage. Together with Indra they symbolize protected, well-directed vitality.
In this hymn, svadhā points to an innate, self-sustaining law or native power—your built-in capacity to function rightly. The hymn suggests it can be restored by aligning with divine order and effective power (śacī).
