Sukta 1.80
इन्द्र तुभ्यमिदद्रिवोऽनुत्तं वज्रिन्वीर्यम् । यद्ध त्यं मायिनं मृगं तमु त्वं माययावधीरर्चन्ननु स्वराज्यम् ॥
índra túbhyam íd adri-vo ’nuttáṃ vajrin vī́ryam | yád dha tyáṃ māyínaṃ mṛgáṃ tám u tváṃ māyáyāvadhīr ’rcann ánu sva-rā́jyam ||
Oh Indra, para ti, oh portador de la piedra (adrivo), es ese poder heroico sin par, fuerza del vajra: que tú, por tu propia māyā, diste muerte al māyin, la bestia engañosa—resplandeciendo en pos de tu autogobierno (svarājya).
