Sukta 1.166
विश्वानि भद्रा मरुतो रथेषु वो मिथस्पृध्येव तविषाण्याहिता । अंसेष्वा वः प्रपथेषु खादयोऽक्षो वश्चक्रा समया वि वावृते ॥
viśvāni bhadrā maruto ratheṣu vo mithaspṛdhyāiva taviṣāṇy āhitā | aṃseṣvā vaḥ pra-patheṣu khādayo 'kṣo vaś cakrā samayā vi vavṛte ||
Todas las potencias auspiciosas están puestas sobre vuestros carros, oh Maruts, como en una rivalidad mutua de fuerza. Sobre vuestros hombros, en los caminos de avance, están los filos mordientes; vuestro eje y vuestras ruedas, juntos, ruedan adelante, en un compás perfectamente ajustado.
