Varāha (default narrative frame)
It links domestic participation (kuṭumba) with public festival and fast-day observance, indicating how Purāṇic texts imagine ritual life spanning household and civic space.
Viśrānti is named as a specific place; its precise modern identification requires correlation with regional tīrtha lists and local traditions.
The verse emphasizes regulated practice—fasting, bathing, and communal celebration—portrayed as harmonizing personal discipline with social participation.
