श्रुत्या यदुक्तं परमार्थमेव तत्संशयो नात्र ततः समस्तम् । श्रुत्या विरोधे न भवेत्प्रमाणं भवेदनर्थाय विना प्रमाणम् ॥३२॥
श्रुत्या यत् उक्तम् परमार्थम् एव तत् संशयः न अत्र ततः समस्तम् । श्रुत्या विरोधे न भवेत् प्रमाणम् भवेत् अनर्थाय विना प्रमाणम् ।
śrutyā yad uktaṃ paramārtham eva tat saṃśayo nātra tataḥ samastam | śrutyā virodhe na bhavet pramāṇaṃ bhaved anarthāya vinā pramāṇam ||32||
Was die Śruti aussagt, ist wahrhaft die höchste Wirklichkeit; daran ist kein Zweifel — darum nimm es ganz an. Im Widerspruch zur Śruti gäbe es kein gültiges Erkenntnismittel (pramāṇa); ohne pramāṇa führt es ins Unheil des Irrtums.
What is stated by the Śruti is indeed the highest truth; there is no doubt about that—therefore (accept) it wholly. In contradiction to the Śruti, there would be no valid means of knowledge; without a means of knowledge, it would lead to misfortune (error).
