Sukta 9.97

Devata: Soma Pavamāna (the purified Soma)

अस्य प्रेषा हेमना पूयमानो देवो देवेभिः समपृक्त रसम् । सुतः पवित्रं पर्येति रेभन्मितेव सद्म पशुमान्ति होता ॥

Transliteration

asya preṣā hemanā pūyamāno devo devebhiḥ sam apṛkta rasaṃ | sutaḥ pavitraṃ pary eti rebhan mitā́-iva sadma paśu-mā́nti hotā́ ||

Translation

Durch seinen Antrieb und seine goldene Kraft mischt der Gott Soma, sich läuternd, seine wonnige Essenz mit den Göttern. Ausgepresst umschreitet er das Sieb, singend; wie ein Abgemessener, Gewisser tritt er in die lichtvolle Wohnstatt, reich an Herden — er, der Hotar des inneren Opfers.
