ऋषिमना य ऋषिकृत्स्वर्षाः सहस्रणीथः पदवीः कवीनाम् । तृतीयं धाम महिषः सिषासन्त्सोमो विराजमनु राजति ष्टुप् ॥
ṛ́ṣi-manā yá ṛṣi-kṛ́t sva-rṣā́ḥ sahásra-nīthaḥ padavī́ḥ kavīnā́m | tṛtī́yaṃ dhā́ma mahíṣaḥ sisāsánt sómo virā́jam ánu rājati stup ||
Dessen Sinn der des ṛṣi ist, der ṛṣi-Sein hervorbringt, selbstströmend in der lichtvollen Welt; Führer tausendfacher Wege, Pfadfinder der Dichter: nach der dritten Wohnstatt verlangend, der große Stier — Soma — singt und herrscht, der Virāj folgend (der weithin leuchtenden Schöpfungsordnung).
