वन्वन्नवातो अभि देववीतिमिन्द्राय सोम वृत्रहा पवस्व । शग्धि महः पुरुश्चन्द्रस्य रायः सुवीर्यस्य पतयः स्याम ॥

Transliteration

vánvan ávāto abhí deva-vī́tim índrāya soma vṛtra-hā́ pavasva | śágdhi maháḥ puru-candrásya rāyáḥ su-vī́ryasya pátayaḥ syāma ||

Translation

Siegreich, vom Winde getrieben, strebe hin zur göttlichen Gewinnung; für Indra, o Soma, Vṛtra‑Schlächter, läutere dich. Gewähre uns den großen, vielleuchtenden Reichtum; mögen wir Herren einer heldischen Kraft (suvīrya) sein, schön in ihrer Macht.
