Sukta 9.74
श्वेतं रूपं कृणुते यत्सिषासति सोमो मीढ्वाँ असुरो वेद भूमनः । धिया शमी सचते सेमभि प्रवद्दिवस्कवन्धमव दर्षदुद्रिणम् ॥
śvetáṃ rūpáṃ kṛṇute yát sisā́sati sómo mīḍhvā́ṃ ásuro véda bhū́manaḥ | dhiyā́ śámī sacate sém abhí prá-vad divás kavándham áva darṣad udríṇam ||
Eine weiße Gestalt schafft er, wenn er in Gang gesetzt werden will – Soma, der mächtige Spender, der Asura, der die Weite kennt. Mit dem Denken verbindet er sich mit der besänftigenden Kraft; und er treibt voran, macht das himmlische Fass sichtbar und gießt den emporgehobenen Strom herab.
