तव द्रप्सा उदप्रुत इन्द्रं मदाय वावृधुः । त्वां देवासो अमृताय कं पपुः ॥

táva drapsā́ udaprúta índraṃ mádāya vāvṛdhuḥ | tvā́ṃ devā́so amṛ́tāya káṃ papuḥ ||

Deine Tropfen, aufwallend und emporstrebend, haben Indra zum Rausch der Macht gesteigert. Dich tranken die Götter zur Unsterblichkeit — reine Wonne, zur unvergänglichen Substanz geworden.
