सं वत्स इव मातृभिरिन्दुर्हिन्वानो अज्यते । देवावीर्मदो मतिभिः परिष्कृतः ॥
Transliteration
saṃ vatsa iva mātṛbhir índur hinvā́no ajyate | devāvī́r mádo matíbhiḥ páriṣkṛtaḥ ||
Translation
Wie ein Kalb bei den Müttern wird Indu (Soma), angetrieben, gesalbt und zur Ganzheit gebracht. Diese Ekstase, die den Göttern Heldenkraft bringt, ist durch geklärte Gedanken (matī) geläutert und vollendet.
