तिग्ममायुधं मरुतामनीकं कस्त इन्द्र प्रति वज्रं दधर्ष । अनायुधासो असुरा अदेवाश्चक्रेण ताँ अप वप ऋजीषिन् ॥
tigmám ā́yudhaṃ marútām anī́kaṃ kás ta indra práti vájraṃ dadharṣa | anāyudhā́so ásurā adevā́ś cakréṇa tā́n ápa vapa ṛjī́ṣin ||
Scharf wie eine Waffe ist die Front der Maruts; wer, o Indra, vermag deinem Vajra zu widerstehen? Die waffenlosen Asuras, die Gottlosen, schleudre mit deinem Rad hinweg, o R̥jīṣin, und bahne den Weg der Wahrheitskraft.
