Sukta 8.96
त्वं ह त्यद्वृषभ चर्षणीनां घनो वृत्राणां तविषो बभूथ । त्वं सिन्धूँरसृजस्तस्तभानान्त्वमपो अजयो दासपत्नीः ॥
tváṃ ha tyád vṛṣabha carṣaṇīnā́ṃ ghanó vṛtrā́ṇāṃ taviṣó babhūtha | tváṃ síndhūṃr asṛjas tastabhā́nān tvám apó ajayo dāsápatnīḥ ||
Du, der Stier der Völker, wurdest zum Zerschmetterer der Hemmenden, gewaltig an Kraft. Du ließest die festgehaltenen Ströme frei; du gewannst die Wasser, die dem Dāsa (der dunklen Macht) dienstbar gemacht waren.
