अभि गन्धर्वमतृणदबुध्नेषु रजस्स्वा । इन्द्रो ब्रह्मभ्य इद्वृधे ॥
Transliteration
abhí gandharvám atṛṇad abudhnéṣu rájaḥ-sv ā́ | índro brahmá-bhya íd vṛdhé ||
Translation
Indra stürzte den Gandharva in den bodenlosen Räumen der Welten; und um des Brahman willen — des heiligen Wortes der Rishis — wächst er, sich weitend als Hüter und Vollender des Mantras.
