हरयो धूमकेतवो वातजूता उप द्यवि । यतन्ते वृथगग्नयः ॥

hárayo dhūmá-ketavo vā́ta-jūtā́ úpa dyávi | yátante vṛ́thag agnáyaḥ ||

Fahle Flammen, den Rauch als Banner, vom Wind getrieben, streben hinauf zum Himmel; die vielen Feuer mühen sich, jedes auf seine Weise.
