स त्वमग्ने विभावसुः सृजन्त्सूर्यो न रश्मिभिः । शर्धन्तमांसि जिघ्नसे ॥
Transliteration
sá tvám agne vibhā́vasuḥ sṛján sū́ryo na raśmí-bhiḥ | śárdhan tamā́ṃsi jighnase ||
Translation
Du, o Agni, bist der strahlende Reichtum des Lichts; wie Sūrya, der seine Strahlen aussendet, zerschmetterst du die Massen der Finsternis und schlägst sie nieder.
