उदग्ने तव तद्घृतादर्ची रोचत आहुतम् । निंसानं जुह्वो मुखे ॥
Transliteration
úd agne táva tád ghṛtā́d arcī́ rōcata ā́hutam | niṃsā́naṃ juhvò mukhé ||
Translation
Aufwärts, o Agni, aus der Ghee-Spende leuchtet deine Flamme, wenn sie dargebracht ist. Indem wir sie in den Mund der Opferkelle setzen, legen wir die Gabe nieder.
