Sukta 8.41
अस्मा ऊ षु प्रभूतये वरुणाय मरुद्भ्योऽर्चा विदुष्टरेभ्यः । यो धीता मानुषाणां पश्वो गा इव रक्षति नभन्तामन्यके समे ॥
asmā ū ṣu prabhūtaye varuṇāya marudbhyo 'rcā viduṣṭarebhyaḥ | yo dhītā mānuṣāṇāṃ paśvo gā iva rakṣati nabhantām anyake same ||
Ihm – ja, der Weite zur Fülle – singe den Hymnus: Varuṇa und den Maruts, den wissendsten Mächten; ihm, der als Setzer des Denkens in den Menschen die Herden wie Kühe behütet – mögen die Kräfte in einer anderen, höheren Gleichheit aufleuchten.
