युक्ष्वा हि वृत्रहन्तम हरी इन्द्र परावतः । अर्वाचीनो मघवन्त्सोमपीतय उग्र ऋष्वेभिरा गहि ॥

yúkṣvā hí vṛtrahán-tama harī́ índra parāvátaḥ | arvācī́nó maghaván sóma-pītaye ugrá ṛ́ṣvebhir ā́ gahi ||

Schirre doch, o Indra, du größter Vṛtra-Schläger, deine beiden fahlen Rosse an und komm aus der fernen Weite. Wende dich her, o Freigebiger, zum Trank des Soma; stark, emporgehoben vom Eifer der ṛṣi, komm herbei.
