अग्निरुक्थे पुरोहितो ग्रावाणो बर्हिरध्वरे । ऋचा यामि मरुतो ब्रह्मणस्पतिं देवाँ अवो वरेण्यम् ॥
Transliteration
agnír ukthe puróhito grā́vāṇo bárhir adhvaré | ṛcā́ yāmi marúto bráhmaṇaspátiṃ devā́ṃ avo váreṇyam ||
Translation
Agni ist im Lobgesang vorn eingesetzt; die Presssteine und der heilige Sitz sind im Opfer. Mit der ṛc gehe ich zu den Maruts, zu Brahmaṇaspati und zu den Göttern, ihre Hilfe erwählend als höchste Gabe.
