त्वष्टुर्जामातरं वयमीशानं राय ईमहे । सुतावन्तो वायुं द्युम्ना जनासः ॥
Transliteration
tváṣṭur jāmātaraṃ vayám ī́śānaṃ rāyá īmahe | sutā́vanto vāyúṃ dyumnā́ jánāsaḥ ||
Translation
Wir, die den Soma gepresst haben, begehren Vāyu — den Schwiegersohn des Tvaṣṭṛ, den Herrn der Reichtümer; wir Menschen (streben) nach leuchtender Macht, nach sieghaftem Glanz.
